What's different
Independent, in writing
No eligible services sold, no service provider number, nothing from vendors.
You always certify
Prepare-only rights in USAC's portal, never your passwords.
One flat fee, set before you sign
Never a percentage of your funding; nothing due at signing.
Service levels
Three levels, Essentials, Full program, Multi-site, each a flat fee per funding year, quoted for your program once we understand your needs.
Common questions
Is our organization eligible, and how much could E-Rate cover?
Public school districts, public, charter, private and religious schools, libraries and library systems, Tribal schools and libraries, and consortia of these are eligible. E-Rate covers 20% to 90% of eligible internet and network costs, set by the share of students eligible for school lunch programs and by rural status. We confirm your discount from USAC's records before we quote.
What does it cost?
A flat fee for the funding year, quoted for your program before anything is signed and never a percentage of your funding. Nothing is due at signing; the first invoice comes when your Form 470 is posted, on the schedule you choose. The fee is paid by your organization, since E-Rate does not pay consultant fees.
How much of our staff's time will it take?
Less than you may expect. We prepare each form, request and response in advance; your staff review, decide on the vendor, upload the documents only you hold, and certify each form on a short scheduled call. Most organizations spend a few hours over the whole season.
Who certifies our forms, and do you need our USAC login?
Your authorized staff certify every form in USAC's portal with their own account, on a call we have prepared for. We never hold your password: you add us in EPC as a consultant with prepare-only rights, and you keep control.
Do you work with vendors?
No. We sell no eligible services, hold no service provider number, never bid on your requests, and accept nothing from vendors. Every bidder receives the same information through the bid portal, and your organization chooses the vendor.
What happens if USAC has questions or denies a request?
USAC reviews most applications and asks questions with short deadlines. We draft each response from your records for your review and send it on time. If a request is denied, we assess the reason and prepare the appeal with you; the records kept in ProCadence are what an appeal or audit relies on.
